TaPalma holds its Tapas Competition two days before the start of the Tapas Route, following the format of Spain’s leading national gastronomic competitions. Accordingly, on Monday, 2 November, the TaPalma Mallorca-2026 Competition will take place at the Palau de Congressos de Palma, which will host the event for the ninth consecutive year.
There will be two competition categories: TaPalma 2026 Tapas and Sobrassada de Mallorca PGI 2026 Tapas. In each category, Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards will be presented.
As in last year’s edition, a jury made up of renowned national and international chefs and bartenders will evaluate the entries and select the winners, who will be announced on the same day, 2 November.
